In March 2015 compared with February 2015:  

  • Food prices rose 0.1 percent.
  • Fruit and vegetable prices fell 3.1 percent.
  • Meat, poultry, and fish prices rose 0.4 percent.
  • Grocery food prices rose 1.2 percent.
  • Non-alcoholic beverage prices fell 0.6 percent.
  • Restaurant meals and ready-to-eat food prices rose 0.2 percent.
Annual change

From March 2014 to March 2015:

  • Food prices increased 1.9 percent.
  • Fruit and vegetable prices increased 7.0 percent.
  • Meat, poultry, and fish prices increased 2.5 percent.
  • Grocery food prices increased 0.5 percent.
  • Non-alcoholic beverage prices increased 0.6 percent.
  • Restaurant meals and ready-to-eat food prices increased 1.7 percent.
