Highlights

This release focuses on labour market dynamics for New Zealand. In the year to the March 2010 quarter:

  • Seasonally adjusted (SA) filled jobs decreased 1.4 percent, to 1,784,632.
  • Filled jobs decreased 1.4 percent, to 1,765,650.
  • SA average quarterly earnings increased 4.1 percent.
  • The annual average worker turnover rate was 14.6 percent.
