Disposable income per person

Why is this important for social statistics?

We measure this because increasing national disposable income can improve the standard of living of the population. Effectively, this measure shows the amount of goods and services available to New Zealanders.

This indicator measures real gross national disposable income (RGNDI) per person, in inflation-adjusted dollars.
