Help using overseas trade visualisation

Explore the graphs in the overseas trade visualisation to see annual changes in the production of the different industries in New Zealand's economy.

On a laptop or desktop computer

The bar graph shows the annual percentage change. Hover over a bar for more detail, and click to select a different time period.

The pie chart shows the percentage change between the time periods selected on the slider bar at the bottom of the web page. The longer (or shorter) the slice, the larger (smaller) the percentage increase (decrease). The wider the slice, the larger proportion that category contributes to the parent category.

Click on a slice to display its subcategories, or click on the white area surrounding the pie chart to back up a level. Click zoom out to go back to total goods exports.

Use the slider bar to change time periods. Do this by clicking on a time period or by dragging one of the time period flags across.
