Statistical standard for sexual identity: Findings from public consultation April 2018 
The findings from the public submissions process on the topics of sexual orientation and sexual identity was released on 8 November 2018. The feedback received will guide the development of a sexual orientation framework and a statistical standard for sexual identity. The standard and framework are being developed by an inter-agency group and will be released in February 2019.

Public consultation for housing quality now open
The public consultation for the proposed definition and conceptual framework for housing quality is now open.

Stats NZ is leading the development of a definition and conceptual framework for housing quality in partnership with MBIE and BRANZ. We have developed a proposed definition and are taking it to stakeholders and the wider public for consultation.

Consultation starts 17 October and will be open for four weeks. Submissions can be made from the consultation web page.
